Mother in law calls multiple times a day. The only times i am not answering the phone is at the times she is gone to meals and when the young and restless is on. My head nearly came off in one swipe. I have counted as many as 48 calls in a 8 hr period. If she can t reach my husband she ll call the house then me and if no answer she ll start the cycle over again.

If it isn t my wife calling her mom it s her mom calling my wife. Since the activities are on hold she spends most of her day calling me. When your grandma starts going on about how miserable she is how no one loves her and how she wants to die that is the signal for your mom to get off the phone. Basically we are the only family my mother in law has. What is bad is when the parent is not objective or has an interest in her sons marriage success. Its clear the mother is jealous and not the wife who soon learns to dislike her. She calls for no reason and if she has a reason it s not a good one to call for.

Morning calls night calls at work calls etc. My son is 6 months old now and my husband is an only child and his father passed 14 years ago. My mil is constantly calling my husband. There are times when they don t want to talk and she calls again an hour later and they still don t want to talk.

She ll do it sometimes more than 3 times a day. She has panic attacks and calls 911 on people walking down the street. This sometimes occurs upwards of 4 times a day.
